PLANNING A TRIP AROUND COMENIUS COUNTRIES

Introduction

• ·         Ask students what they know about our Comenius Project for 2009-2011,about the partner countries: population, the capital, history, food and drink, weather
• ·         Divide the class into pairs to talk about their last holiday:

Where did you go on holiday last summer?

How did you travel? What did you visit? What kind of accommodation did you have?

What was the weather like?

• ·         Ask the class : Do you think our Comenius Partner’s countries are good places for a holiday?Why?

1. Plan a trip to one of the partner’s country and city using ViaMichelin

2. Find major towns. Write the itinerary

4. Find appropriate accommodation and food and drink clicking on websites of the city or www.google.com

5. Find attractions or entertainment and choose interesting events in the city.
