Raise your learners’ intercultural awareness

If you are looking for a fun way to raise your learners’ interculturalawareness, why not try Diversonopoly? This novel twist on the popularboard game was developed by a Grundtvig project.

“Diversonopolists” throw dice and move round the board in any direction from the “start” to a “finish” point. As they land on colour-coded circles, they pick up the appropriate card. This card contains a question to be answered, an action to perform or a brief description of an aspect of learners’ diverse cultural traditions, emphasising similarities as well as differences.

There are six categories – Everyday Life, Freetime, Traditions,Philosophy, Education and Work and Communication. There are 64 questions in each category.
